Idaho is a state in the northwestern part of the United States and became the 43rd state in 1890. Idaho is surrounded by the border of Canada, the state of Montana, the state of Wyoming, the state of Utah, the state of Nevada, the state of Oregon and the state of Washington.

Fishing in Idaho offers fisherman many great times as well. The Idaho Department of Fish and Game divides the state into several fishing regions. These regions include the Panhandle region, the Clearwater region, the Southwest region, the Salmon region, the Magic Valley region, the Upper Snake region and the Southeast region.
